The Bestbank Hour

Russell "Rusty" Autry is a lifelong resident of the Westbank. In 1997 at the age of 21 he founded The Olive Branch Cafe in Marrero and later in Algiers - for the last 28 years he has built a thriving business, a beautiful family and an excellent reputation within the community. If you have been to one of his restaurants you already know he is Westbank born Westbank raised Westbank proud because it is his Trademarked slogan.

Rusty serves on several non profit and advisory boards because his commitment to improve his community is sincere and through his businesses he helps dozens of schools and local organizations raise money to further serve his neighbors. He is insightful and compassionate and because of his sincere interest in serving the BestBank he seeks to raise awareness of positive things in his community and sometimes asks hard questions to hold folks accountable.

The BestBank Hour will focus on the issues and interests of folks living and working in Jefferson Parish. Rusty will regularly have political, community and business leaders on to discuss topics of interest to citizens. The BestBank Hour will focus on the needs and concerns of our community and Rusty will ALWAYS celebrate our culture, our progress and those folks who are making a difference.
