Only Good Vibes News Network with Whistle and J Thursdays at 4pm!

Join Whistle and J for an hour of Only Good Vibes as they highlight people doing positive things in and around Louisiana.

Leroy Mitchell Jr., a native of Bunche Village, a neighborhood in New Orleans, more specifically Metairie, embarked on a unique journey that transformed him into the beloved "Whistle Monsta." Growing up, his grandmother's words, "God gives everybody a talent... you just have to find it... and when you find it, you have to use it, and if you don't, it is a sin," resonated deeply within him.

At the age of 18, Leroy discovered his extraordinary talent for whistling. Initially, he dismissed it as a "lame talent" but then realized its potential to support his beloved New Orleans Saints. Inspired by the idea of combining his whistling skills with the wind generated by the 68,000 fans at the Superdome, he envisioned creating a powerful force to aid the team's defense. This concept gave birth to the iconic "Whistle Monsta," a symbol of unwavering devotion and innovation.

As Leroy embraced his role as the Whistle Monsta, he discovered another remarkable talent cultivated through his years as a Saints Super Fan—the ability to remain positive. This gift ignited a strong desire within him to share his positive attitude with the world. With this mission in mind, he spent over a decade contemplating the most effective way to spread his optimism. The result of his dedication and thoughtfulness is the creation of the Only Good Vibe News Network, a platform dedicated to delivering positive news and uplifting content to people everywhere.

The Only Good Vibe News Network serves as the culmination of Leroy's journey, embodying his unwavering commitment to spreading positivity and joy. Through this platform, he hopes to inspire others to embrace their own talents, stay positive, and make a positive difference in the world. The Whistle Monsta's story is a testament to the transformative power of passion, perseverance, and the belief in one's own unique abilities.
