Greetings! Welcome to The Cuisine and Marketplace Place Report. My name is Cynthia Clark and I am your Host and a broadcast journalist.(see bio below) 

I have a liberal arts degree from  Loyola University of New Orleans in Mass Communications and Theatre Arts. I am also a Mom, playwright and youth acting coach. 

The Cuisine Report celebrates one of the oldest most treasured traditions- eating and breaking bread with family and friends. 

The Cuisine Reports' format reviews, recommends, and Spotlights restaurants, Cynthia Clark talks to Restaurateurs and Chefs, either on site remotely at their establishment, or live in our NO radio station studio.

The Cuisine Report talks about Cuisine in New and established Restaurants, and we talk about Cuisine at Home,

"I always put a spin on wellness and health." Cynthia also broadcasts reviews and food reports.

The Marketplace Report focus is on professionals in business from doctors, to health and wellness practitioners, to fitness experts and more. 

" My father was a Maxillofacial Surgeon, and my mother a Nurse. I have a passion for medicine as well as special insight about the medical and wellness profession. "

The marketplace Report highlights businesses of all types. The broadcast aims to educate on new technologies, from medicine to information on annuities or long term healthcare insurance. 

On the marketplace Report we invite guest to talk to our audience on topics to enhance their lifestyles. 

The listener is a loyal baby boomer audience on the radio dial at 990 AM. The AM signal reaches to Gulfport to the East and Nearly to Baton Rouge to the West

Cynthia Clark earned a Bachelor’s of Arts degree from Loyola University of New Orleans in communications and journalism.  Cynthia has 15 years of professional media experience in the disciplines of Marketing, Public Relations, and Broadcasting with the following organizations:

  • Millennium Radio of New Jersey
  • ADX Communications

She has worked professionally as a food reporter, news, weather, and music “DJ” on-air announcer in the New Orleans’ market, under the tutelage of the Big870 Morning show host Tommy Tucker. She has also worked professionally as a TV food host along the Gulf Coast. She has been a morning drive producer and writer for WDSU TV 6 and WRNO in New Orleans. She has had the honor of working with New Orleans’ personalities like Alec Gifford, Tommy Tucker, Scoot, current Midday host on the Big 870, Jim Hanzo, current news reporter on the Big 870, and Steve St. John, voice of New Orleans for podcast-archivethe Big 870.

Cynthia is a National President's Club Award honoree for top radio executive performance. She won national recognition by the Radio Advertising Bureau for her innovative multimedia advertising campaigns. She has implemented strategic marketing plans for franchise businesses like Bonefish Grill, an Outback corporation, the Medicine Shoppe and Russell Stover Candy Company.

Cynthia is active in the community today, and is a former board of directors’ member for the French Quarter Business Association and the Louisiana Economic Development Association. She was a speaker for the New Orleans Dental Association, NODA, and spoke on “Bridging the Marketing Gap”. This original seminar authored by Cynthia earned the dentist in attendance state clinical continuing education credits for advertising education requirements.
