The CUISINE REPORT'S mission is to discuss cuisine, both at home in your kitchen, and at  new  and established restaurants, locally in New Orleans, and through out the State of Louisiana.

On the Cuisine Report we focus on cuisine and its relationship to our physiological wellness and our palettes' emotional pleasures. Cynthia's goal is to help us discover and enjoy a healthy relationship, plus balance with one of the oldest traditions in the world -  Food.

On this live  Show we  highlight specific foods from various restaurant menus, and talk to Chefs and  restaurateurs on location at their businesses and sometimes in our downtown New Orleans studio . We like to educate and be educated together, and learn from each other as we discuss daily trends and current local and national news issues. The Cuisine Report primary focus is on  our local and regional rich Gulf south's food industry.

 

Cynthia Clark earned a Bachelor’s of Arts degree from Loyola University of New Orleans in communications and journalism.  Cynthia has 15 years of professional media experience in the disciplines of Marketing, Public Relations, and Broadcasting with the following organizations:

  • Entercom of New Orleans
  • Beasley Broadcasting
  • Centennial Broadcasting
  • Millennium Radio of New Jersey
  • ADX Communications

She has worked professionally as a food reporter, news, weather, and music “DJ” on-air announcer in the New Orleans’ market, under the tutelage of the Big870 Morning show host Tommy Tucker. She has also worked professionally as a TV food host along the Gulf Coast. She has been a morning drive producer and writer for WDSU TV 6 and WRNO in New Orleans. She has had the honor of working with New Orleans’ personalities like Alec Gifford, Tommy Tucker, Scoot, current Midday host on the Big 870, Jim Hanzo, current news reporter on the Big 870, and Steve St. John, voice of New Orleans for podcast-archivethe Big 870.

Cynthia is a National President's Club Award honoree for top radio executive performance. She won national recognition by the Radio Advertising Bureau for her innovative multimedia advertising campaigns. She has implemented strategic marketing plans for franchise businesses like Bonefish Grill, an Outback corporation, the Medicine Shoppe and Russell Stover Candy Company.

Cynthia is active in the community today, and is a former board of directors’ member for the French Quarter Business Association and the Louisiana Economic Development Association. She was a speaker for the New Orleans Dental Association, NODA, and spoke on “Bridging the Marketing Gap”. This original seminar authored by Cynthia earned the dentist in attendance state clinical continuing education credits for advertising education requirements.
