1) Mayor Elect LaToya Cantrell – Seems to be more connection with Derrick Shepherd. Apparently he wrote a speech for Cantrell and an event in Algiers he seemed to have hosted the event acting as Latoya’s assistant.

2) Irvin Mayfield – Pleaded not guilty in a federal court. His attorney is saying that the case is tainted by leaks.

3) Offshore Drilling – The President has opened offshore drilling.

4) Marijuana – Attorney General Jeff Sessions on Thursday rescinded a trio of memos from the Obama administration that had adopted a policy of non-interference with marijuana-friendly state laws.
