| Survey: Louisiana among hot spots for financial hiring |

NEW ORLEANS (AP) -- Louisiana is among seven states expected to have the most active hiring for financial business positions this summer. That's according to a survey by Robert Half International, a California-based financial employment services company. The survey says hiring for accounting and financial services also will be strong in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. The survey of chief financial officers of various companies cites business growth and rising workloads for the additional hiring. Still, 84 percent of the CFOs surveyed nationwide expect their staffs to remain the same size during the third quarter. Bookmark       |
