ARCHBISHOP RUMMEL TO RETIRE CRAIG STELTZ #10 |

His professional career awaits him and he will find out this weekend where it will begin via the NFL draft. His intercollegiate career culminated with LSU winning a national championship as he led the Tigers in interceptions and tackles during the 2007 season and he was named first-team All-American.
It all started with his prep career at Archbishop Rummel, where Craig Steltz led the Raiders to a pair of state semifinal appearances and four district titles. Steltz was named All-State twice at Rummel, the only football player in school history to achieve this feat.
For his accomplishments, Archbishop Rummel will retire the #10 worn by Craig Steltz at a Senior Day ceremony this Friday morning, April 25 at 7:45 AM in the school gymnasium on-campus at 1901 Severn Avenue in Metairie. This will mark the first time that Archbishop Rummel has retired a number since the inception of the football program.
