WEEKLY ACCOMPLISHMENTS **Jeff Crouere had probing visits with Pete Sepp of the National Taxpayers Union, Candidate for Judge Will Crain, and documentary filmmaker Alex Jones. This morning, Jeff visits with first congressional district candidates Tony Gentile and Skip Galan. Jeff did his show live from the historic Hotel Monteleone in New Orleans on Thursday as his waistline continues to grow! **Speaking of expanding waistlines, Ed Clancy enjoyed Andrea's last Friday with former District Attorney Harry Connick, Sr. and he will be at Grand Isle Restaurant in downtown New Orleans today from 1-3 PM. Ed's week also included visits with local television stars Nikki Reyes, Jay Danna, who named the Grammy awards, and Jim Currie of the Covington Comedy Show. Ed also continues to do a fine job with the WGSO News at Noon. **Bernie Cyrus landed a visit with St. Tammany Parish President Kevin Davis, explored the brilliance that will be the St. Tammany Children's Museum with Lisa Barnett, and talked with Kelly Faucheaux of Renaissance Publishing. Bernie has also been making the rounds with the WGSO Cash Vault at various locations around the Northshore. **Ken Trahan visited with Hornets executive Chad Shinn, Commissioner David Baker of the Arena Football League, talked with Brother Martin baseball coach Mark Wisniewski, and will visit with NFL Draft analyst Al Dupuy of Draft Day Report this morning at 11 AM. Ken & Michael Green were blessed with a visit from NBA Hall of Famer Jerry Lucas on the Life Resources Bottom Line Sports Hour. **Jude Young spoke with the head coach of the New Orleans Blaze--the women's professional football team. **Terry Easley continues with the WGSO Morning News Hour at 6 AM and he is becoming "the remote king" with his many Saturday visits to area businesses with the WGSO Cash Vault. **Fantasy Frenzy returns this Saturday at 5 PM with Scott Tracy, along with George and Emmanuel Pepis to provide your fantasy picks and fix on major league baseball. **Russell Stegeman is now well established with the WGSO Legal Show Saturday mornings at 8:30 AM. **Anne Dale is well underway with the Anne Dale Show Saturday mornings at 9:30 talking jewelry and more! **Nancy Nolan and Dr. Jim Hurrell have the best pet advice in town on the WGSO Pet Show Saturday mornings at 9 AM. **Don't miss the continuing broadcast of Grace Baptist Church on Sunday mornings at 10:30 AM. **The WGSO Wine Show with Tim McNally is a Sunday staple--now at 11:30 AM. ATTA BOY **Ed Daniels of the Three Tailgaters Show (Saturday morning--10 AM) had an outstanding Hornets preview show on WGNO-TV, ABC 26 on Thursday night. **Ken Trahan, Ed Daniels and Brandon Rizzuto spoke at the Archbishop Rummel Career Day on Thursday about WGSO, the communications industry, and their high school experiences. **Congratulations to Archbishop Rummel for their fine victory over Brother Martin this past Tuesday. Don't forget--WGSO will broadcast the Rummel-Jesuit game on Saturday night at 7 PM on WGSO, 990 AM & at WGSO.com **Congratulations to the UNO Privateers for rallying past LSU--beating the Tigers for a third consecutive time this past Wednesday night. The Privateers will battle Florida International this weekend on Friday night (6:30), Saturday afternoon (1:30), and Sunday afternoon (1:30) on your station for UNO sports, WGSO, 990 AM. **Kudos to Jeff Crouere, Ken Trahan, & Ed Daniels for being mentioned in the Times-Picayune for serving as waiters at the "Jew Tout Deux" recently. **Terry Easley is pulling double-duty as News Director and has been a solid aide to General Manager Harry Finch and sales through his weekend programming initiatives.
