WEEKDAY ACCOMPLISHMENTS **Jeff Crouere has had hard-hitting shows dealing with creationism vs. evolution and dealing with the First Congressional District Republican runoff that have spawned great response from our listening audience. **Ken Trahan scored with hard-hitting commentary from Glenn Guilbeau of LSUBeat.com on the Ryan Perrilloux situation and the search for an athletic director and basketball coach at LSU. **Ed Clancy had WDSU's Dan Milham on his show live from The Rib Room at the Omni Royal Orleans today. The food sounded great but those of us who work for a living would never know! **Bernie Cyrus continued to rail on the bandwagon of saving St. Henry's Church in New Orleans where his parents attended. **Saints Hall of Famer Vaughan Johnson stopped by for the Life Resources Bottom Line Sports Hour with Ken Trahan and Michael Green **Kevin Ford continues with the only show focused on the outdoors during the week in the entire New Orleans market Thursday nights at 8 PM with the Louisiana Sportsman Live Show. **Jude Young continues with sports talk with an attitude on the Second String--you can hear him next Monday night at 6 PM. **Les East returned from hiatus due to baseball games for his Reporters Roundtable Show this past Wednesday night with Eric Richey of Fox 8 Sports. **With the Major League Soccer season underway and their season getting closer, Kenny Farrell, Gary Ostroske, Steve McAnespie and company provide your soccer fix on the ShellShocker Soccer Hour Monday nights at 8 PM. **The Tom Walter Show with Mike Wagenheim is up and running weekly on Monday nights at 7 PM from Lafitte's Cafe on Elysian Fields Avenue in New Orleans. **You can win tickets to the Sandestin Wine Festival this Sunday on the WGSO Wine Show with Tim McNally from 11 AM-12:45 PM. **The WGSO Cash Vault will be at Top Fuel on Pontchartrain Drive in Slidell this afternoon with Ken Trahan from 3:30-5:30 PM, with Terry Easley Saturday from Noon-2 PM at Furniture Liquidation on Pontchartrain Drive in Slidell, and Saturday from 3-5 PM with Jeff Crouere at the Star Cafe on Florida Street in Mandeville with your chance to win $9,990 from your friends at WGSO, 990 AM. ATTA BOY **Jeff Crouere celebrated an anniversary with his celebrated Ringside Politics With A Punch at the Cricket Club in New Orleans this past Thursday night. There was a standing room only crowd of over 300 on hand. The anniversary was honored in a column by Chris Rose of the Times-Picayune this past Sunday. **Mike Janssen continues to provide up-to-the minute weather coverage on WGSO daily and don't miss his "Weather Plus" show weekdays at 6 AM on WGNO-TV, ABC 26. ADDITIONS **The first WGSO Legal Show with Russell Stegeman aired this past Saturday morning--listen tomorrow morning at 8:30 to hear the second edition. **WGSO welcomes new account executive Lisa Gentry to the fine sales staff. **WGSO congratulates Reanie Ainsworth on her promotion to account executive. **WGSO welcomes Charles Guidry to the family as the station's new receptionist and overall do-it-all. **Stay tuned for some new weekend shows set to debut within the next few weeks.
