COVINGTON, La. - Four more alleged drug dealers have been taken off the streets this month by the Covington Street Crimes Division.
Lt. Jack West said police witnessed drug deals on November 6 and 15, and arresting those allegedly responsible.
West explained one deal on North Columbia Street and another in the parking lot of a Boston Street fast food restaurant.
“These two cars pull in and out comes the bags and out comes the money,” he said. “So they grabbed them right there.”
Police charged Covington residents Kengie J. Crandle, 27, with selling marijuana, cocaine and narcotics in a drug free zone, Eugene D. Tyson, 25, as an accessory and Shronda M. Richardson, 34, and Ricardo R. Garrett, 21, on similar charges.
West said police also seized a large amount of drugs at each bust. |
