MANDEVILLE, La. - Habitat for Humanity St. Tammany West has been awarded a $20,000 grant from the Northshore Community Foundation Hurricane Katrina Impact Fund to purchase a Ford F-100 pick-up truck for their construction department.
“Having an additional truck will make us more efficient in our operations,” said Pat Brister, Habitat St. Tammany West Board Chair. “There are still many hurricane impacted families to be served in west St. Tammany Parish. We are grateful for the generosity of the Northshore Foundation in helping us meet our goal of building another 100 houses over the next two years.”
The organization asks anyone interested in helping volunteering or contributing to Habitat for Humanity St. Tammany West to call them at 985-893-3172. |
