Born and raised in the New Orleans area, Ken has been a sports media fixture in the community for 30 years. Most recently, he was Sports Director at WGSO where he has accumulated three national awards and 16 state and local awards for his work including “Outstanding Coverage of Amateur Football” from the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame, and National Broadcaster of the Year from the Professional Bowlers Association. With the transition of WGSO to Northshore Broadcasting, Ken will be the station’s Operations/Program Director.
In addition to his work in radio, Ken is the General Manager and Chairman of the Board of the Saints Hall of Fame Museum in Kenner, writes a monthly column for the Kenner Star newspaper, and serves as an area director for Life Resources Ministries. Previously, you’ve heard him as the play-by-play voice for the Saints, Zephyrs, Night, UNO and Tulane among others. Ken has also hosted TV shows including The Tim Floyd Show, The Monte Towe Show, Inside the New Orleans VooDoo, The Sports Report, and Inside Sports on Cox TV, WHNO-TV, and WGNO-TV.
