Oh Yeah, after a long wait its time to tee it up and play some football and Scott Tracy along with George and Emmanuel Pepis break down week 1 of the N.F.L Season from a fantasy perspective. Some interesting observations on this edition of Fantasy Frenzy.
Finally we get to talk sports! After worrying about Gustav last week, it's all sports all the time with Ken Trahan and Ed Daniels. Thoughts and prayers are with everyone who got hit hard by this storm and thank goodness recovery time won't be near as long as three years ago. Now on to sports and LSU may possibly be moving next week's game against North Texas in the Superdome or in Dallas. Meanwhile, the Saints are definitely playing in the Superdome tomorrow against division rival, Tampa Bay. So with that said, Archie Manning joins the bunch to discuss the game this weekend and his son Eli's performance Thursday night, and his son Peyton's Colts gearing up for their opening game at Lucas Oil Stadium. Special guest and Super Bowl champion coach, Brian Billick joins the show to discuss more about the Saints matchup against the Bucs and more about the rest of the league including a breakdown of the AFC as Week 1 will be in full swing tomorrow. How about some college football and College Gameday is in....Gainesville? For a Florida team that's over a 3-touchdown favorite over a Miami program that's nowhere near the program they were as recently as 5 years ago? Ken, Ed, and Archie also discuss the college football landscape for this weekend including a tough test for Auburn and why Tulane is catching East Carolina at just the right time. Great timing Peter King....NOT!! The day Gustav struck Louisiana, King writes an article about the "dream" of the Saints moving to Los Angeles. Tulane plays Alabama and the game is worth 30 bucks if you want to watch it on Pay-Per-View. But is it worth the money? All that and a whole lot more on the Three Tailgaters with Ken Trahan, Ed Daniels, and Archie Manning.

Welcome back to Ringside! Back from Gustav so what's your story? Jeff returns and the hot topics are the review and recovery from this storm. How well (or not well) are our leaders doing? Sarah Palin spoke last night at the Republican National Convention and most accounts say good job! But is the media's coverage of McCain's running mate biased? We also have recovery news from Slidell mayor Ben Morris, councilman Arnie Fielkow, Michelle Wilcutt of the New Orleans International Airport, and Suzanne Parsons-Stymest giving an update on St. Tammany Parish in regards to power restoration. It's an All Star Day with Mitch Gibbs and Nick Vareccio debating the evacuation/re-entry process and Palin's speech last night. The Giardello Brothers debate the top political issues of the day. And Kristen Fife, senior writer for the Culture and Media Institute joins the show to discuss if the coverage of Sarah Palin is too biased and unfair.
