The UNO Privateers (17-10, 7-8 SBC) played the Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns (13-13, 9-6 SBC) as ULL gets the sweep over UNO in the season series. The Privateers lost to the Cajuns by the score of 72-70 for homecoming in New Orleans. UNO was led by Senior guard Bo McCalebb with 18 points all in the second half in a Homecoming loss at the Chamber.
In a stirring comeback the UNO Privateer men stunned Arkansas-Little-Rock 77-75.The privateers rallied from a 9 point second half deficit to grab a monumental win.Bo Mccalebb once again led UNO with 30 points with help from both Keyshawn Myers and Kyndall Dykes as they chipped in with 15 points.UNO got revenge for an earlier home loss to the trojans as they win their 17th game but more importantly they put themselves very much back into the Sun Belt Western Division evening their record in the league to 7-7.UNO completes their second road sweep of the season.
In what was a disappointing effort the UNO Lady Privateers got shellacked by the UALR Trojans 67-51 at Little Rock.The Lady Privateers were never in the game as the trojans took control from the opening tip and never looked back.Brittney Helm led the Lady Privateers with 19 points in a losing cause.The loss dropped UNO to 12-13 overall and 6-8 in conference.
The UNO Privateers (16-9, 6-7 SBC) played the Arkansas State Indians (9-16, 4-10 SBC) in Jonesboro Arkansas. The Privateers beat the Indians by the score of 79-78. UNO was led by Senior guard Bo McCalebb with 31 points including the game winning lay-up, Kyndall Dykes added 14, and Ben Elias with 10 in a road win at the ASU Convocation Center in Jonesboro Arkansas.
