Today's Show with Michael Green and Ken Trahan was with Louis Oubre an Alum of St. Augustine High School where he became a national merit semifinalist as well as a football star of a state championship team. Mr. Oubre then continued his career at the University of Oklahoma, he became an All-American offensive lineman, blocking the likes of Billy Sims. As a professional, he was drafted by his hometown New Orleans Saints, playing here for three seasons as well as one other in Miami. His story is one of triumph, heartache, falling, and restoration. After football, things got dicey. Working as an undercover drug agent led to high anxiety, high blood pressure, and tough times. Depression led to bad choices and drugs. He hit rock bottom. After finding his roots with the Lord, he found his way to peace in his personal and professional life. Then came Hurricane Katrina. Oubre lost everything. Now, he has found everything he needs.
