Saturday, June 28 2008

Welcome back Ken from two weeks assignment and Ed from a road assignment as well. The tailgaters start with the Hornets not having any draft picks in the draft that happened this past Thursday. So how will they attack free agency coming up? Ed and Ken break down which free agents the Hornets are primed to go after. Bo goes to Sacramento. Bo McCalebb now will try to make Reggie Theus' team. Recruiting news and Tulane football made a little news this week. Fresno State completed a magical run to the national championship, but should the College World Series format be changed? The Saints are marchin' in to training camp in less than a month. Meanwhile, Roger Goodell says rookies are being paid too much. Duh! The question is will he do anything about it. Also why has Ed Daniels never been on a cruise? Find out that and a lot more on the best weekend sports show around. It's the Three Tailgaters here every Saturday morning.

Life Resources "Bottom Line" Sports Hour Thurs Jun 26
Ken Trahan
Thursday, June 26 2008
Today's Show with Michael Green and Ken Trahan was with Louis Oubre an Alum of St. Augustine High School where he became a national merit semifinalist as well as a football star of a state championship team. Mr. Oubre then continued his career at the University of Oklahoma, he became an All-American offensive lineman, blocking the likes of Billy Sims. As a professional, he was drafted by his hometown New Orleans Saints, playing here for three seasons as well as one other in Miami. His story is one of triumph, heartache, falling, and restoration. After football, things got dicey. Working as an undercover drug agent led to high anxiety, high blood pressure, and tough times. Depression led to bad choices and drugs. He hit rock bottom. After finding his roots with the Lord, he found his way to peace in his personal and professional life. Then came Hurricane Katrina. Oubre lost everything. Now, he has found everything he needs. A devotional with Ken Trahan on weaknesses its the Life Resources Bottom Line Sports Hour.
