Also Louis Farrakhan is in the news only he really outdoes himself, Farrakhan proclaims that Barack Obama is the Messiah!!! What a real clown this guy is.Crime Cameras not working. during a drive to register voters to participate in the upcoming presidential

over? Also, Tom Brokaw moderated the event- so how did he do? Jeff discusses
what he thought of the debate and he also says be ready for Barack Obama- next

On a side note, one proposal from the debate last night by McCain was to buy up
300 billion dollars of bad mortgages to allow homeowners to keep their houses.

Good Monday morning...well maybe not that good. Bill Jefferson made a run-off with Helena Moreno. Through all the charges, all the corruption it looks to be all but over for Moreno. Will we be movin' on down while Jefferson moves on back to his seat? So if you want to be a politician in Louisiana, start stuffing your freezer with cash. Sarah Palin is taking the gloves off. She points to Barack Obama's connection with terrorist, Bill Ayers. So Palin has to do the dirty work for John McCain it seems. Or will this accusation even matter with all of the adversity that Obama has survived through in the past several months? Guess who's coming to New Orleans! And not for dinner- or hunting thank goodness. Dick Cheney will come to New Orleans to speak at a fundraiser for Steve Scalise. Possible controversy on Saturday as Jeff tells of one voter who voted against a tax renewal bill, but his vote registered for the bill. Also, an interesting piece in the Times Picayune that meetings do not properly list tasks of different meetings. The bailout has happened but Wall Street response has not been good at all. And Thursday night it's the Ringside Politics Comedy review. For reservations, e-mail
